UC Santa Barbara's Summer Research Academies offer a dynamic, 4-week summer experience that introduces qualified high school students to the research enterprise through project-based, directed research in STEM, Humanities, and Social Sciences fields. Applicants will be notified by April 1, 2023 ***Applications are due by March 1, 2023. one letter of recommendation from a teacher, a guidance counselor, or a work supervisor.a copy of your unofficial high school transcript.1-page essay in which you describe yourself and detail what you hope to gain from this experience.The completed Google application form which will include all of the following items: The program will run from JAugust 12, 2023, and students will receive a $500 stipend after completing the program.Įligibility - Applicants must currently be in their junior year of high school (no exceptions). The written report will include a literature review, and the oral presentation will include a 5-minute video of a PowerPoint presentation detailing their research findings. At the conclusion of the program students will complete both a written and oral presentation. In this six-week program, students will have the opportunity to work alongside a faculty member from the School of Business and assist them with research in their area of study such as entrepreneurship, marketing, management, economics, and finance. The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology is offering a paid virtual summer research program for high school students.
